Mookie's Miracles: A Children's Book Series
Kenyatta Neal was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is a lifelong Educator and Entrepreneur. Affectionately called Mookie as a child, she suffered from a rare bone disease that caused her to have multiple surgeries on her legs. For more than three years, Mookie was unable to walk, run, or jump like normal kids. During this time, she was confined to a wheelchair, wore braces, and occasionally walked with crutches. She eventually started swimming to strengthen her legs then she learned to walk on her own. It was a long journey to achieve this goal but Mookie overcame all obstacles.
Kenyatta currently resides in Henderson, Nevada with her two children and two grandchildren. She is writing Mookie's Miracles as a book series to empower and encourage all children with disabilities to live their best life.
